The Denny and Dave Duo understands that you want your wedding reception to be a celebration, the completion of a journey that led to your marriage. Our music is not overpowering, but allows for you as newlyweds, to greet and converse with your guests while we play a stylish repertoire of instrumental and vocal compositions to accompany your special occasion.
We are aware that the most traditional moments in the party -- the cutting of the cake, the father/daughter dance, the garter removal and toss, photo taking, and toasts -- often are the most cherished. Our goal is t0 enhance these events rather than drown them out.
Currently, The Denny and Dave Duo is experiencing a celebration of its own, having played for 43 years. Our first music performance was a stage show at age 14. As U.S. Navy seamen, we entertained at official gatherings for dignitaries in the Middle East. Can you believe it, twin brothers on the same ship together, the USS Noa (DD 841)? In 1971 we performed for our American Ambassador to Ethiopia and his guests, Ethiopian leaders and their wives, during a formal gathering in Djibouti. Since 1966, we've played at thousands of events, including weddings, corporate affairs, private parties, stage shows, and pool parties.

Today, our homebase is the Tampa Bay area. Of late, we have performed in restaurants and special social gatherings. Some of these places would not normally have entertainment due to poorly located electrical outlets. In response, we purchased and developed our own unique design of professional equipment that is entirely battery powered. It has proven to be one of the best decisions we ever made. Even in the middle of a field we can be set up in less than ten minutes and entertain for three hours with instrumental music that adds exceptional atmosphere to any gathering.
Hardly, do we ever take up much space, and our instrumental virtuosity and tight sounds provide a warm, friendly mixture of styles and rhythms. Should a PA be required, we are also able to provide dance music in a DJ format, from shuffles, bosanova’s, ballads, line dancing, swing, reggae, to rock and roll and rhythm and blues, in addition to our live vocals.

Band fees
- All under contract
- Weddings, corporate events: $700 (for duo), $1000 (for trio); Private parties: $400 (for duo), $600 (for trio); Pool parties: $350 (for duo), $500 (for trio) stage must be covered and dry; New Year's Eve: $1500 (for duo), $2000 (for trio).
